Contemporary dance in the community
Loop Company members teach dance in a variety of settings within Kent communities.
It you attended MOVE IT 2010 and received one of our lovely wrist bands this will gain you free entry into any of our dance classes below, for one week.

LoopEd Adult
ADULT CONTEMPORARY BEGINNERS DANCE CLASS
(OVER 18'S, NO DANCE TRAINING NECCESSARY)
Every Tuesday 5.30-6.45 pm
The Brook Theatre, Chatham. £5.50 per class, or £50 for 10 week course
This contemporary class is a fun, creative class that has a Pilates and fitness focus, it is perfect for complete beginners or for those who are returning to dance after a break. No need to pre-book just come along!

LoopEd Youth (Dance Company)
(UNDER 18'S)
LoopEd Youth Dance Company is a contemporary dance company for young people. It was started by Loop in 2006, to give young people the opportunity to practice and perform contemporary dance together with the support of professional dancers. LoopEd Youth Dance Company is supported by the Big Lottery Young People’s Fund.
Who can join? Any young person from the age of 11 with an interest in learning contemporary dance can join LoopEd Youth Company, places permitting.
Auditions for new members take place in June every year. Check back here for details soon.

(UNDER 18'S)
Every Thursday 5:00 – 6:20pm

For young men aged 11 years and up
Cost: £3 - bursaries available for families receiving family tax credit and young people receiving EMA (Education Maintenance Allowance for 16+)
An opportunity for young men to take part in class and develop their performance skills, the sessions will include a blend of Hip Hop, Contemporary Dance and Parkour with strong emphasis on fitness. The group will have many opportunities to perform, starting with a performance on Thursday 10th July at the Brook Theatre as part of Big Dance 2008.

For young people with physical and leaning disabilities

For adults with physical and leaning disabilities

£2.50 per weekly class
This group is open to people who have learning disabilities who are over 18. If you are under 18, contact Loop about Moves Dance Company for disabled young people.
Some Big Moves members also have physical disabilities or use wheelchairs.
This is a really fun way to get fit and flexible, and learn dance!
Big Moves do contemporary dance which means you will learn dance techniques and will also create your own. Carers are very welcome to come along for support, and can join in if they want to!
