LoopEd Youth (Dance Company)
Contemporary Dance for under 11 to 19's
LoopEd Youth Dance Company is a contemporary dance company for young people. It was started by Loop in 2006, to give young people the opportunity to practice and perform contemporary dance together with the support of professional dancers. LoopEd Youth Dance Company is supported by the Big Lottery Young People’s Fund.
Members of LoopEd YDC are required to attend a weekly technique class, taught by a member of Loop Dance Company (professional). These classes are term time only. The classes are used to build strength, technique and stamina and give the dancers the opportunity to work together as a company. Therefore it is imperative that company members attend a weekly class or their place in the company may be in jeopardy. Cost: £55 per term (£165 a year)
